GRANGE Old School Boxing Gym fighter Daniel Geale has given Ryan Waters tips for Waters' imminent fight against Anthony Mundine.Mundine and Waters are scheduled to fight in a WBA light-middleweight world title eliminator bout in Wollongong on September 15.
Last Thursday at the Smeaton Grange gym, Geale and Waters went toe-to-toe in a sparring session. ``It was a good session and my management were pretty happy with the way I went,'' Geale said.
``Waters is a very different fighter to Mundine.''
Geale is in a position to offer Waters advice as he has been in the ring against Mundine when he lost on a points decision in controversial circumstances last year.
``I hope Waters' plan is to keep moving and to keep the pressure on Mundine,'' Geale said. ``He's always got a puncher's chance he can bang a bit.''
Next on the agenda for Mount Annan boxer Geale could be an international opponent.
``We're trying to get a fight against Russian Roman Karmazin for the number one mandatory spot in IBF middleweight,'' Geale said.
``At this stage, we'll have to wait and see, but we're trying to get him to come to fight in Sydney in October.''

yes he got tagged a few times.but as you say he stayed composed.i saw the McCracken fight where he floored him in the 1st but ate a few shots in the later rounds but luckily led handily.fights with Ammann and Pitt should see if he is up for Green.according to this article Ammann is October 8.his wifes quite hot.
