Who cares it was a insignificant fight between a washed up Macklin and a glass jawed bum in Geale.

 

I was looking forward to that fight................

Geale will end up fighting the winner of Sturm V Soliman ... The whole avenge loss thing will draw big in Germany and draw big pay day's for both fighters. Plus if Geale takes the fight and wins he has a bigger bargaining chip with GGG/Chavez/Martinez and also the networks and promoters

 

true, but geale walked away with 2 belts from Germany before and he still wouldn't take a golovkin fight...twice

 

Yeah...would you walk away If you were Geale, GGG wasn't recognised at the time Matinez was known as the king of the divison, ...now all the hype is around GGG and not Martinez, I personally would love to watch GGG fight Geale a fighter who would go down swinging and would push GGG, but Golvokin would win by late Ko. It would be a great fight.

 

Put Macklin on the undercard of Golovkin-Geale in NY. Macklin against either Brian Vera or Curtis Stevens.

Macklin is terrible. Not even a scalp, maybe Geale realized the win would do nothing for him.

I'd love to see Geale/GGG. I think Geale has the footwork to make GGG earn it.

 

Good suggestion. Hope something happens for Mack either way. I believe he could have beaten Geale. It was a great opportunity for him.
