Geale V Macklin Off

Geale personally wrote Hershman after the last fight negotiations broke down due to Australian TV conflict saying he did in fact want the fight with GGG but losing Aussie TV PPV money and his homeland fans not being able to watch was just not tenable.

He pretty much has to make a serious effort to negotiate a fight if he wants to keep any credibility with HBO. He will face Golovkin, in a good fight. Geale is better than Quillin so it all works out.

I feel bad for Jennings and Macklin though.

 

Pretty much anyone who follows the MW division. MW is a very international division, but some really silly US fans think its crap - because it isnt often shown on US TV, and people have this odd tendency to assume that if its not shown on US TV its because its not any good.

 

Particularly Matt as finally he had a big name opponent that he really could have beaten IMO, just to have the opportunity snatched away.

I would favour him to beat Geale, whereas he was pretty much always gonna lose to Sergio and GGG (particularly GGG). Very unlucky guy Macklin. Hope he gets a break soon.
