Thats not what I said, I said show me a link that said he had to fight him now, and that the fight was ordered by the ibf or he would be stripped. The fact is that DID NOT HAPPEN

He is choosing to fight his mandatory in february, it is nonsense to say this fight has been ordered, in fact the ibf would have let geale do whatever he wanted for around a year whilst they continue to **** around with the box off!

Also I would say that some deale has been done with geales management to make it count as his mandatory, as the ibf had ordered the box off and that was public, so in all likely hood, the MANDATORY nature, is total bull****, and this is the fight geale's team wanted and hooked it up., All good, go geale, easy win, why not i don't begrudge him. Just don't sugar coat ****! You guys go out of your way to **** on choc, and invent most of the bull**** on supposition and inuendo, and argue semantics. Well fact is, no mandatory defense was ordered for Geale

IBF rules stipulate that all their champs every 9 months have to fulfill a mandatory defense, unless an otherwise agreed upon exception by the IBF in the cases of Unification, still awaiting a mandatory from an eliminator or whatever the reason etc.

While i dont agree with this 9 month period, the IBF do stick to their rules pretty tightly unlike the WBC or WBA in recent years, as some may know they have had previous US Federal Court Injunctions due to prior corruption as they are the only US based major sanctioning body (based in New Jersey).

Daniel Geale won the title off Sebastian Sylvester in early May this year. Add 9 months to that and you get February 2012, which is when the Osumanu Adama fight is scheduled :good

Why don't you call Grange and find out?
    :-(
    You don't sound very convincing.
Are you sure about that? :think
Of course, he's a complete dick.
Have you got proof of this fact?
I'd like to see it, and I reckon a few of the others here to.

Why would I begrudge geale mate? War geale, and go aussie boxing, (came up short against choc, but no shame there!)

Well, your constant bleating about how the mandatory is bull**** and sugar coating, etc, might have something to do with it. :patsch

Well the fact Geale himself literally just said that the fight is either in feb or march, puts a bit of a question mark over the "fight in february or be stripped" line would you not agree? Also considering there was no comment from the IBF saying that the fight had to happen? If someone gives me a link to an article that would do, but a link to a page saying geale is fighting his mandatory does not tell me that the IBF said fight or be stripped. That is my point.
