Mate I can't spell this out any clearer. His mandatory is due in February. It says this on the IBF website. If he fights anyone after this date that is not named Osumanu Adama he gets stripped.

 

Thanks Ippy, I guess the main source of my confusion, was the IBF themselves selling the whole box off, meaning adama vs soliman was still to happen, what happened to that Ipp? Why the change from what they said publically? Very strange! No sure what these knuckle draggers find wrong with these comments!

 

The box off fell apart somewhat when Ben Simon fell out of it.

The bigger question IMO which needs to be asked about the IBF is whether having a mandatory every 9 months is viable this day & age when your lucky if most world champs fight 3 times a year MAX.

At least the IBF very rarely sanction a Interim title fight, let alone a Silver or Super Dooper Regular Belt.

 

Is it true Martinez offered Geale a fight and it was knocked back?

 

I know Geale's team have been in talk with the other world champions. He needs to get Adama out of the way first. Looks like Martinez and Chavez Jnr could be a goer for the WBC title.

 

Thanks Ippy, I saw a comment in the General that said Martinez was fighting Macklin after Geale knocked back the fight. Didn't know how accurate it was.
