Hi all,

I know I am new to this forum. Although, I look forward to discussing boxing with you all. I run a boxing website called. thefixisinboxing as a part time thing.

Most recently I covered the Geale vs Wood fight for my website as well as The Ring Magazine.

No Garth Wood retirement announcement yet?

 

Why retirement? He is only 35, and can still hack it domestically. He just pulled an Icarus and fought above his proper level (for a fourth time...emboldened by his flukey upset of Mundine in his first step up that far...)

I'm sure Geale will have no use for his piddling "WBA Pan African" championship and is sure to drop it sooner than later...Wood can scoop that back up and milk a few more defenses to ride off with a W streak.

 

Can see Wood going anywhere now and the way he spoke after the Geale fight I don't think he can either.
