    anyone heard the news?rumours going around that sams gonna get the shot....wba belt will be relinguished and a fight with ggg next year.

    espn radio some jock was just talking about it...seems like grange dont want k2's advances...something like they had 22 days to work it out and nothing come about.
    k2 dont care either way as they'll get ggg a fight for the belt geale relinguishes or fight geale for 2 belts...hbo are sure quinlinn will win the wbo strap in oct and ggg fights in december...hbo looking for a matchup between the 2 in march....

    Exactly right. And who is going to pay to put a **** fight like that on. No interest in it. Sam hasnt done enough to deserve it. He was thrown in the top 20 by Ray Wheatly, then hung around for years and had a couple of nothing wins, and voila, hes the mandatory.

    To be honest, I would rather see Geale fight Mundine.

    cant blame geale is just gone to germany and taken 2 hard fights and 2 belts and now wba are forcing a mandatory on him against a monster.
    grange are snookered so probaly the best thing too do me thinks.
    beat sam and hopefully suss out someone next year for a bigger purse.
    the martinez/ junior 12 round ****ed everything up for geale...

    Soliman is the IBF mandatory, if they fought, its not by choice. Team Geale actually have major personal issues with Sam, they DO NOT want to give him a shot.

    The Golovkin fight is up for purse bid, the belt is still his until the Mandatory time has lapsed.

    Unfortunately, as ive said before, this is the business of boxing. Its about the money now, and you cant knock a fighter for chasing it while he has a title, theres a small window of opportunity.

    There is no money in a Soliman fight. Except for Ray, he is the only winner, wanker.

    probaly about 200k aussie plus a big fight next year in europe or usa but if he fights ggg
    what maybe around 400k and loose the belts...im just saying.....

    He keeps a belt which makes a fight with Murray,Macklin or even Sturm again a possibility. I agree this is a **** fight noone wants to see but Sam's the mandatory and Gav,gambler,r2d2 or whatever he calls himself these days will stop with the Geale is ducking Soliman threads.
