geale vs shannon taylor?

I dont care for it that much other then it would be nice to see Taylor get his arse kicked.

But I think this would sell well...I agree. With the right undercard it may be even PPV worthy..But it would have to be stacked.

 

Geale vs Sam is a better fight :deal

 

Meh...I like Sam but have rarely enjoyed a fight of his. Just to ugly to watch.

No thanks. This is only a good fight for Geale if he is intent on going backwards because this fight would be pointless for him. I'm sorry but Shannon Taylor in 2009 at 160 is a bum. Shannon Taylor should not be on Geale's radar at all surely.

 

Surely Geale should be looking to fight some foreign fighters ? Soliman, Mundine, Green, Taylor and now Geale should be looking beyond domestic level really. Home match ups are good, but these guys are well in to their careers now.

Tend to agree......However he did go the distance with Mundine....but if he serious he needs to drop to 154 and fight some top 20 guys around aust....maybe a Gary Cormer or Wyamera....if he can beat them maybe its Baby face or Frank.....if he beats them he can fight for a regional belt and then get a shot at a name.

Problem is lots of ifs in this one and getting up for small fights and fighting on undercards will be a bridge far far away for Taylor.

So in the end he maybe right.....go right out and fight Sam, Geale and co and maybe he jags a lucky win to end the day on.

 

Have to agree with most of the sentiments, Geale taking on Taylor is a waste of time. Would most likely generate ticket sales but not necessarily the step forward in a career that is still to be realised by Geale.

 

Geale should try his luck o/s he can always come back and fight the locals but I reckon he should try for a bit more than Taylor right now.

 

Shannons finished, had his time, time has passed. Geale needs to fight the best fighters out there. Cab drivers should be a thing of the past. I wish he had more power, he would be world class with it.

 

Agree. Geales major flaws are his very poor power at world class level and his poor chin = very unlikely to win a big 4 belt imo.

 

I thought geale showed he could hang with the big boys, i think him and Felix whould be a top fight, but he dosent have the power to win by KO in Germany and we all know how this schiet they were with Green giving old Markus a few head butts back in the day.........
