Geale will hand Cotto a schooling similar to the one he issued Mundine. This won't even be close.

Geale is not a push over by no meens. But I still believe Cotto can pull this off. He will hurt Geale and when that happens, Geale will go defensive. I don´t think Cotto´s stamina issues will play role at all. Maybe judges but not stamina. WAR COTTO!

I agree, Geale can do this. He looked sharp in the GGG fight and beating Cotto would be a way to redeem himself. He's got a good beard and I reckon in the later rounds he may well grind Cotto down with his size advantage.

Not unlikely..... Geale will probably be at a good value as well, I'll probably lay some cash on him. Cotto is VERY beatable at MW. There are probably 20-30 active middleweights more than capable of beating him. At least 10 he no chance against.

What if Geale does beat Cotto and wins the hallowed Green belt? Will he fight the one they call Triple G who put him on quéér street and finished him just a short while ago or will he vacate with Golovkin having to fight... who? Eubank Jr? It's a pretty embarrassing situation all around for the WBC; watching their champion fight a guy who just got KTFO by their interim champion.

Cotto is my man, and I want to see Cotto-Canelo -- but I think logically Geale wins -- even at 157

They will be tied on the score cards going into the 11th round when, just before the bell rings, Geale and Cotto look ringside and see GGG sitting there and they realize what is waiting for the winner.
The championship rounds will be 2 of the most boring(hilarious) rounds in boxing history.
Rounds 11 and 12 will make Vazquez vs Bey look like Hagler v Hearns on PCP and gunpowder.

Geale can punch some, especially to the body.

Had Barker hurt on several occasions.

Ive no doubt that Cotto is gonna try to keep this at range and pick his spots inside.

If Cotto lets Geale start getting off the jab downstairs, it could be a long night for Cotto, one that even crooked judges can't be paid off for.:think

    Geale isn't that good.

I'm not writing off his chances but he got beaten by Darren Barker.

Geale honestly isn't that good, but he's the best win in GGG's resume. Even a past prime, bloated WW version of Cotto who lost to Austin Trout several fights before beats Geale.

This is why it perplexes me why GGG won't move up.

Lol no he doesn't, Barker is another Euro bum. Even Trout post Canelo beats both Geale and Barker. That's how garbage the MW division is.

GGG is a great boxer/puncher with GODLY punching power, inhuman chin and excellent boxing skills but he's waiting around wasting his prime trying to fight a Welterweight who's already got 2 fights lined up.

It's like a 33 y/o virgin outside of a ***** house waiting to pop his cherry just to say he did when he can be macking on better women. Guy is slowly starting to become a joke.
