Been using these for a few weeks (half a dozen workouts, maybe?). So far, I love em. I really like the protection on the knuckles, which is thick and squishy. Even better, they have 120 inches of wrist wrap attached, and you can really get good support for your wrist/hands with a good thick wrap. They fit snug inside my Rival Ultra Bag Gloves. When I have the wrap/gloves on together, I have no fear of blasting away on mitts/bags with full force. No wrist turning, hand bruising or problems of any kind. I was skeptical becacuse I've always heard the gel wraps don't last, but when I saw that these have the 120 of wrap attached, I realized they were not the same junk Everlast/Rival are selling the chicks at my gym that don't wrap the wrist at all. Worth checking out if you have concerns about your hands or are looking for some extra support/protection. :thumbsup Link on Amazon: [ame]http://www.amazon.com/Combat-Sports-Gel-Shock-Handwrap/dp/B001SL0UNW[/ame] Cost is only $20 USD This content is protected
I, Like you, have always heard Gel didn't last long, and being broke I wasn't going to drop some money into them. If you keep using them hard and they last.. make an update at some point and I may actually consider trying them out. Like I said; I liked the idea forever; but I never wanted to waste money on them if they became trashed just after a couple of months.
Gel wraps aren't the most cost effective but we need more threads like this one instead of the crap on General. Keep it up, Slacker.
