That was pure instant ownage.

Is the winner of Mousasi vs. Mizuno in the Grand Prix final for the DREAM championship be a top 10 Light Heavyweight? I say yes.

This "cage favors wrestlers" business is a load of bs. If anything, the cage favors fighter who DONT want to fall out of the ring/get tangled up in the ropes/get molested by japanese officials.

See this thread for further rationale: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=231674

    It's situational, I think.

That guillotine would have been sunk on wrestler O'Brien even if non-wrestler Mousasi was leaning into a cage instead of back against the ropes.

I just wish you could soccerkick and headstomp and knee to the head of downed opponents, that would equalize the American wrestlers more then the cage.

Exactly. It's like how you don't have to beat #1 to become #1. If you're #2, for instance, and you beat #3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 - while #1 ducks you and fights guys ranked #35 and 82, the #2 guy surpasses him by default until he mans up to face him.

So likewise, if someone in the 10-20 range fights and beats a bunch of other 10-20 guys (especially if he dominates) he belongs in the top 10 every bit as much as if he had a single win over #9 or 10.
