Well well well, looks like someone is happy King Mo got KO'ed cuz somebody didnt bother to learn how to defend a take down. I'd like to see a rematch to be honest. I think King Mo would still win, but it would still be interesting.

no one to blame but him self. When they would get stood up Gegard should have blitzed Mo but instead he stood there squared up waiting for Mo to shoot.

Gegard is a freestyler but incredibly complacent on his feet. I like Gegard but he simply didn't work enough from the bottom and his td defence needs alot of work. That fight was winnable but he lost to a tough wrestler. He should be better than that.

Gegard is a good striker and with all his striking experience he makes cardinal sins of keeping his head up, hands a low and legs lazy and straight. A textbook boxer should be in the set position. A by product of this would be he could actually stuff takedowns.

It looked like he was relying on getting another upkick knockout in the Mo fight. It also looked like he just accepted the fact that he would be taken down, and didn't train any takedown defense. But he has always been comfortable off of his back, so maybe he felt that he didn't need to train it.

He is still young, so he has time to fix the holes in his game.

He was too nanchalant trying to be too cute. He gets taken down and hes too calm. Why calm?? Are you ****in BJ Penn or something?? No, hes just calm so that he can look cool. WTF? Now here comes Mo who works his butt off and a terrific wrestler to boot. Now tell me, how the fuk are you going to beat guys like him?

while it is true that mousasi "lost" that fight by lay and prey decision, even though mousasi did more damage, a rematch between the two might end in a different result.

  9. Gegard was taken down but actually did more damage to Mo on the ground. He might have thought that he was winning, afterall American MMA orgs seem to award more for takedown than the actual damage/pain inflicted to the fighter. Gegard has worked very hard on his wrestling skills though and should be able to dominate Mo this time around. His main problem though is that he isnt very active (which he realised).
