So you can't supply a single name then. Gemini getting such an immensely important fact wrong is pretty important, don't you think. So much for Gemini and boxing.

 

1) These sorts of discussions lack realism because the actual Tyson was rarely fully disciplined for 3 years in a row, fully healthy, and with full focus in training camps avoiding drugs/alcohol. If Tyson avoids being, well, himself, then sure, I would favor a prime Tyson to beat most if not all of Ali's opponents in the mid/late 60's. I would likewise expect a prime Ali to box circles around everyone from Mitch Green until Buster Douglas and would beat Douglas himself. Neither of them had particularly amazing first careers and actually face better overall competition in their comebacks.

2) Outside of a freakish puncher's chance, I cannot imagine Tyson beat Ernie Terrel in a mere 3 rounds. The fact guys like Green, Smith, and Tillis lasted as long as they did with lame spoiling, jab/clinch tactics tells me that the true Master of Octopus style Terrel could conceivably go the distance as well. At the very least, Terrel could definitely make it past the 3rd round, that's a bit absurd given Terrel's chin, reach, survival skills, and high ring IQ. Tyson was notoriously easy to tie up and spoil. A more reasonable take is Tyson winning by TKO within 8-10 rounds.

 

For your sake, I sincerely hope you're joking and not actually considering Liston's "knockout" loss to Ali a legitimate 1st round KO.

What's funny is the "iron-chinned" Tyson was KO'd and dropped more times than Liston.

 

I mean hardly surprising, 60s was a pretty poor era, similar to Tyson's own in the 80s.
