this would be an extremely fun bout I would have to pick jake lamotta based of the fact that he beat a prime ray Robinson and gene did not but what are your thoughts on this bout?
I would call this a pickem type of fight. I would slightly favor Jake, but prefer Fullmer style so would be slightly pulling for him. I will say 8-7 in favor of Lamotta
LaMotta easy. He knew how to fight, and Fullmer didn't, IMO. I have a closed mind on Fullmer, nothing can change my mind. The only things I would stipulate are that the fight not be held in Utah and that there be a referee who would enforce the rules of the ring.
LaMotta had faster hands and was busier, Fullmer utilized an awkward jab and was the harder puncher. Both had great whiskers. Probably busier and faster wins a decision.
