    Yeah, Fullmer’s cross guard was one of the most effective versions we’ve seen — not pretty, but incredibly functional. He used it perfectly to smother clean shots and set up those short, rough counters on the inside. Against someone like Robinson, it showed just how well-timed and disciplined his defense really was.
