15 rounds? I think Rocky breaks him down. I could see Tunney winning a 10 rounder, perhaps even a 12 rounder. However, Marciano is relentless. It would take a boxer who at least has Ali or Holmes level power to keep Rocky off them for 15 rounds. Tunney was a good light heavyweight puncher but even at that weight, he wasn't a massive hitter. And Tunney's power by heavyweight standards was average and that is being generous. I think Rocky will get outboxed early but he will land plenty to the body which will eventually slow down Gene. Rocky UD 15 with perhaps a knockdown or two coming in the last few rounds. Great fight with lots of good moments for both guys.
