Tunney’s resume is definitely lacking when compared to other LHW greats. He beat formidable but past prime versions of Greb, Jeff Smith, Gibbons, arguably a green but formidable Loughran as well. Sure, Greb was a middleweight, but he was also a middleweight with arguably the greatest resume in light heavyweight history! I’d definitely say it’s an accomplishment to beat him even as a light heavy. Tunney strikes me as the type of fighter who’s H2H standing far exceeds his P4P standing.
