Now i think gene tunny can beat Anthony joshua or Floyd Mayweather i will explain why , gene tunney was a good counter puncher and defeated every man he ever faced , by the ruiz fight we can all tell aj struggles with small opponents that is why he lost weight and crouched alot during the second ruiz fight also given that gene is a great counter puncher which will make problems for aj , now to floyd - floyd was great I especially loved his match against Manny Pacquiao but floyd struggled a little with mannys southpaw stance which is heavily used by gene tunney not mentioning that floyd struggles with 3 things ( defense counter punching and southpaw) so that is my take on it

Would Uskyk outbox Joshua? I have my doubts. That aside, Usyk is about 20 lbs heavier and 3 inches taller than Tunney. Like I said, Tunney would be a small cruiser weight in this day and age. Have you actually watched Tunney? His style where he keeps a low guard and slides out does not work when you are significantly smaller than your opponent.
Correct. Didn't he weight around 190 for the fights with Dempsey? That would put him at cruiser, and a guy who needed to bulk up to be there, which was why I said he'd be a small cruiser. I could be wrong. It's hard to look up specific fight weights for those old time fights.
