The post regarding Gene Tunneys potential longevity inspired this question.. A very even match up through style and fitness. You opinions please............
Tunney by UD or late stoppage. Gene did everything Billy did but was bigger and stronger and hit harder. Plus he was more mobile than the Louis Billy fought so he would be able to keep up with and eventually catch Billy. A good fight until the end though.
Conn via UD he was faster and seemed to be the better boxer Tunney had a very low guard, plus I feel that Billy put his combinations togerther better from the footage of both guys.
awsome macthup but tunney by late ko or dec they were close to mirror images of each other but tunney had better power
