Been on a bit of a Tunney binge lately...

So could Gene pull it off?, both were great boxers, that had a tendancy to trade toe to toe when the mood struck.

    No I don't think so.
Holy simply in an other class. And I do think that Holyfield would eventually get to Tunney.

  3. Evander by tko. Tunney might run but evander would catch him

Holy all the way.... Holy too fast, sizable and strong for Tunney........ Tunney gets bullied and schooled by Holy......

Not sure an older Holyfield was beaten by Toney who has terrible footwork and is only naturally 190 minus the fat.

Holyfield likes a war, tunney I think has the feet to keep out of the way. Put it this way I think Holyfield has more problems with tunney than Rocky. How fast is a peak Holyfield is the question.

I am not sure Holyfield met a real fast fighter. He always gets hit but just trades really well. Two questions for everybody

Did Holyfield meet a real fast puncher with excellent boxing skills to slip his punches?

Did Holyfield meet a fighter with great footwork?

I can not remember him meeting either type of fighter.

I am talking about a peak Holyfield prior to the 1st Bowe fight.

Yeah, I thought as much... but I think Tunney makes it to the cards at the very least.

    Guy was one tough *******.

I'm bold and ballsy.......... I say 1987 Holy at 190 pounds who just KO'd Qawi inside 4 rds on Showtime was big and good enough to take Tunney apart prior to round 15, in a time machine....... WORD!

He was always bouncing around and had nice footwork. I would say he had fast feet.

Holy was better than Tunney overall.......... 'Nuff said.......... Holy is top-10 on the ATG list of champs 190+ pounds.......... Tunney is likely top-15......... TRUTH!
