Tunney would have employed the same strategy as Pastrano's .....one of the brainiest strategies BTW you could use vs a counterpuncher like Harold Johnson......jab, move constantly, and make Johnson do the leading...make him be the aggressor, i.e., force him out of his comfort zone. Tunney would win a close 15 rounder like Pastrano did...maybe scoring with some harder punches along the way, but not many. Pastrano's approach worked...it would work for Tunney.
