    Inspired by McVeys Greb thread, how does the Gene Tunney, who was beaten by Harry Greb in their first fight go against these 4 Middleweights.

    I think Ketchell is too crude. Robinson would be just too small to make up the difference.

    Hard to pick Hagler when he never fought at L.Heavy

    Unless he gets lucky I see Tunney outboxing Ketchel.Robinson would give the Marine a good go ,possibly to lose a close decision.Monzon would be a bit to methodical and measured to beat the fleetfooted Tunney at this weight imo.
    I dont know if Tunney ever boxed a rightie , but Marvin was not a big middle and Gene might be able to stay one step ahead of him ala Leonard.

    I agree. I cant really see any of these beating Tunney (although who knows). Certainly none of them would start favourite. It shows you just how great Greb really was.
