I like Tunney in a 10 rounder by decision, but, I'll go with Marciano by TKO in a 15 rounder......

True, no one fought a war of attrition better than Marciano.

Tunney was definately up there though.

By the slightest of margins I'll pick Tunney. His fast footwork should keep him out of harms way long enough to eke out a decision. Plus he's a tough sob as well. Never ko'd in his entire career and a very skilled boxer too. Tunney would put Marciano in a test tube and find the formula for beating him but it would be close.

Most likely goes to the cards. Marciano almost always has a chance of stopping most fighters based on his attributes. However, with Tunney's mobility even if he ever got himself in a danger zone I think he would just bike his way to survival. I doubt it would come to that, though, because Tunney would make it a great and very close fight.

Glad to see Tunney getting some recognition again.

Anyone in the 175-190 lb range will have a tough fight with Tunney....he only lost one fight and that was to Greb.

    Tunney UD

His footwork is absolutely amazing. He has good stamina and chin to survive Marciano's pressure. Great left jab, solid reach and wonderful skills...yeah, I think that Gene takes it.
