Tunney unanimous dec. Too fast and skilled for the lumberling low left vitali. Tunney's piercing right hands would cut vitali to shreds.

Vitali beats him down. Too big, strong, and just awkward for Tunney.

Vitali UD. Something like 9-3 over 12 or 11-4 over 15.

But don't you think the fact that Tunney never beat a huge heavyweight is a problem ?

Vitali's sheer physicality would be too much for Tunney to overcome..but know this, that Tunney would make it to the final bell for a decision loss. Again, V.K.'s height reach would be a barrier too steep for Tunney.

Tunney's movement forces Vitali to overreach and miss a great deal with lunging jabs, causing a rotator cuff injury that forces the ukranian giant to quit. RTD9.

Tunneys style and physical presence are ill-equipped against Vitali. Tunney is a bit caught in no-mans land here.

I'm leaning towards this or an ugly as **** fight where vitali's lean back style is effective in reducing tunney to ineffective pot shots. tunney's movement was spectacular and it's hard to gauge as he really didn't fight anyone nearly vitali's size

Tough fight for Tunney. Vitali's size and defensive ability make him a hard guy to pot shot and hard to be an aggressor with Gene's type of power. The size of Vitali combined with his style makes him a hard guy for Gene to beat with his tools...Vitali UD over a moving Gene

it's tough but possible however i certainly don't see it that dominant.

tunney would have to be at his mobile best and fight the smartest, most disciplined fight of his career (even more so than twice humiliating a badly faded dempsey)
