Glover's right hand isn't straight as an arrow, but it's his go to counter and I wouldn't say it's a hook Te Huna has a varied offence, but seems a hook-throwing bulldozer to me. Tight with it though, and incredible chin and powers of recovery. I guess this is what it's all about. Put to red hot destroyers in with each other and see who the best is. I was kinda hoping they could both be moved towards Bones. Or, as I say, Te Huna Vs Manuwa just...because. Who are we matching Manuwa up with next? Enough to test him but give him opportunities to SMASH?!?!
I agree, it's not a hook. It's the same cross-counter Shogun throws. And I like the Glover/Te-Huna match up, they both deserve it. Manuwa didn't deserve Te-Huna and his pretty destructive 4 fight win streak, ya know? Maybe Hamill for Jimi if you really wanna see how far he can go. Hamill: Good takedowns, but now great takedowns, ya feel me? Other than that Mousasi, Maldonado, Soszynski (if he heals) would all be fun. If he really impresses, down the road, we can see him in The Octagon with the likes of Rogerio, Rua, etc,.
I'll stick my neck out and say the Prelims alone are NEARLY a PPV card on their own. At worst they're better than a lot of Fuel cards. Benavidez Vs Uenoyama is endlessly intriguing.
Did anyone catch M1 challenge 38 ? I just had a suss at sherdog & prospects Krylov an Chaban Ka won their fights not sure what happened to Smoldarev's fight..
Per usual, Rick Story is there to pick up the pieces. And will, as always, do so in violent fashion. :bbb But I really like Mike Pyle a lot too. He's a tough out and interesting matchup for anyone.
In a fight between Anderson Silva and Jose Pele to the death in some back street alley in Brasil who would win?
