Technically not a butterfly guard is it Rob?

Velasquez puts one butterfly in; Lesnar attempts a pass Velasquez extends his leg, Lesnar gets punished for poor technique as Cain has enough space to move out backwards and stand up

Velasquez standing up in that manner is as much a "butter fly guard" as Lesnars double leg take down actually being a double leg take down.

    What's better...

An 8 sided cage, 5 sided, circle or ring?

I'd judge it on these things myself...

    A) Crowd friendly.
    B) Fighter friendly.
    C) Side. Less corners = more space to work/hide.

Fighter friendly is going to depend on the fighter.

It would work the same as if it were boxing. Round ring would benefit fleet fighters and leave no corner for them to get trapped in. Octogon and Pentagon, pentagon offering a little more of a corner for guys to get stuck in than the Octogon. Ring, you can get stuck in all kinds of **** in a ring, I think it tends to make guys go a little more toe to toe than the cages do, but as Swollengoat will say, it's a lot better than having guys get tangled up or have resets, or have people manipulating your body from ringside to prevent you from fouling or falling out lol.

He's right on that account in some sense. I think it's a worthwhile trade if it means guys stand and fight, or grapple hard without the wall n stall.

From the crowds point of view I think the circle or ring are great as they give a great view of the action.

Obviously fighters that use the cage are ****ed in the ring as they can't really work for long periods on the ropes... Plus fighters climb through them to get a restart!

Dana White said Nate Diaz might even get released for his gay slur. I'm sure he won't, but it's good to see White showing some professionalism. And not his usual double standard ****

    Caraway is a degenerate mongrel...

I pretty sure if they made a law that made jumping off a bridge mandatory he would do it...

Pretty sure Caraway is a master troll.

I mean if you knew 98 percent of mma fans are pro weed, and already going to **** on you for getting the bonus. Might as well rustle their jimmies and come out with a story about how much you hate dope smokers.
