    Folks,

These top-5 fights listed are my favorite to review, however, they might not all be huge PPV sellers or everyone else's personal selection...

    1. "Duran-Moore"
    2. "Hagler-Hearns"
    3. "Ali-Foreman"
    4. "Duran-Barkley"
    5. "Leonard-Hearns 1"
    :deal
    EXTRA:

    Runner up is, "Foreman-Moorer" & "Holmes-Cooney" for historical reasons...:good

    NOTE:

Of course I admire many more great fights, but these are "Key" fights I'll never turn my back on... Cheers...
    :-:)hey

When this subject always comes up, there are always a ton of great fights mentioned. One that always gets overlooked is ODLH vs SSM I. That fight was incredible.

'Tis cool with me, dude...... I have always given (Since 2000) DLH credit as a now proven ATG fighter....... And that's coming from a 1992 Olympic skeptic, too...... I first watched DLH fight as a pro in 1994 when he beat Molina.... DLH has many great 1990s fights.... The guy is solid......

    MR.BILL:bbb:rasta:deal

    NOTE

Shane Mosley is also great, but he has slipped since 2002..... Only his fighting spirit and desire has allowed him to last until 2011....

Can't stand watching Ali-Foreman. Foreman holding his hands out as a "defense" pisses me off to no end. Richard Pryor said it best about Foreman, "I like Foreman's boxing style: None. He goes in the ring and says, "Okay which one is the ref, cuz I'm knocking the other guy the **** out."

    In no order.
    Hagler Hearns
    Ali Frazier 1
    Duran Leonard 1
    Duran DeJesus 2
    Leonard Hearns 1
    Toney Nunn

    Then you got fights like:
    Mercer Cooper
    Holmes Mercer
Holmes Shavers (basically all the fights between Ali Frazier Norton Shavers Foreman Lyle Quarry Bonavena)
    Holyfield Bowe

    I just like boxing.

That 1970s skit from Pryor is indeed classic.... I used to play that for my friends when I had Pryor's "Greatest Hits" on cassette back in high school...
    :D
"The ref (Zack Clayton) started counting 7,8, George said, **** that, get to 10, damn if I'm gonna get up."

    I LOVE "ALI-FOREMAN.":thumbsup

Call me sick but I just love the beatdown Duran put on Moore, the atmosphere during that fight was great too.

I really like watching Chava fight. He didn't really have HUGE Ko power, but he made up for it with his boxing prowess. You can't really say offense or defense because he switched from pushing his opponent back to countering, seamlessly. Now that is a master of his craft.
The fight with Danny Red? was a brutal beating, just getting countered and outjumped everytime. And the Gomez fight was just another mexican blasting out a puerto rican. Nothing special about it....
