Oh well, BoxRec still don't have the result updated so I am unspoiled. I'm gonna rewind the video and do a RBR of it anyway. (clearly I'm very busy at work this morning )

 

Genisis Lagumbay Libranza vs. Rowel D. Rosia, 12 rounds @ flyweight

 

This is for the GAB 112lb title, first defense of Libranza.

Round 1

Libranza is leading off with stiff left jabs up top and hard rights harpooning the midsection. Rosia circles away, mirroring this output as southpaw and with less height and reach, floating up a right jab and then sending a trapezing left underhanded from his own stomach into Libranza's. Hard lead rights by Libranza burst through Rosia's guard and crash into his chest, sending him reeling into the ropes. Old fashioned boxing stance by Rosia, lurched forward but off kilter, using his drunken lean over an invisible clothesline to buoy his ambush combos, right hooks into Libranza's left shoulder and left uppercuts into his breadbasket. Libranza is chasing him into the ropes, herding Rosia with a 1-1-2 in his face.

Round 2

Libranza is working a double jab up top and then drilling a right downstairs. Rosia is standing pat and covering up with his elbows pinched together at his waistband. Rosia takes his turn with long swatting right hooks while scurrying around Libranza. Desperate lunges by Rosia now, hitting Libranza obliquely with a few right hook and left hand combos. Libranza still scoring the cleanest stuff with right hands through the guard and body shots.

Round 3

Overhand rights from Libranza strapping the jaw, or partially expunged with the left fist of Rosia in the way but still getting a piece above his ear. Rosia now spirals out, pawing double right jabs and shooting his left hand straight into Libranza's to neutralize his jab before he can throw it. Quick flurries by Rosia, having momentary success outworking Libranza in the waning moments of the first minute. Libranza now starts to surprise Rosia by incorporating a step-through left hook into his arsenal, sending him backing up in a straight line and then tagging him hard with right hands. Libranza repeatedly stuns Rosia, who flurries while backpedaling. Hard left hook by Libranza.
