Groves was working with tosspot Paddy Fitz when he sparred GGG if I recall. When Groves still punched the way he was taught to by Booth he had power in spades. I don't care what golovkin says if he eats Groves' best shot he's going out like a candle.

it wasnt running...he was trying to show the live audience and the tv audience that he was levels above his opponent....that he could do what he wanted and not get hit......he basically showed stevens wasnt even close to the level of himself

and he was right...i mean stevens lost to marcos primera and jesse brinkley lol.....yet hes like one of gggs top 5 wins lol

dirrell made very, very, easy work of stevens there....like many levels above him

but like i said...stevens, who is one of gggs top 5 wins, was beaten by near club level guys like brinkley and primera.....so its not suprising

then dirrell went to nottingham and beat froch too

dirrell was a problem....too bad a cheap shot artist like abraham derailed his career....ggg seems to have learned that stuff from abraham

 

Anyone else notice that GGG is very disrespectful to other fighters? He said Groves has no power and it was an easy sparring session, he also made fun on Monroe in the build up to his fight with Lem.
