Genna will have a hard time to fight a good name even if he grabs that WBC belt

Is the WBA belt Lucas Browne has the same as the one ALI once held?? NO.

    Tyson Fury holds that title.

Glovkin won an interim title against Nunez. Felix Sturm was the full WBA champion at that time.

There was only one WBA belt when Hagler fought Hearns.

Glockin has a mickey mouse record riddled with useless paper interim trinkets that mean nothing.

I go by the WBA. That over rules whatever nonsense is posted on boxrec.

Here's the thing. I can get Dino hating Wlad Klitschko.

A lot of his fights are pretty boring and I don't particularly like the clinching either.

But why on earth is he tilting his lance at Golovkin? Very strange.

Other than maybe Cloud, everyone you mentioned is better than anyone on GGG's resume though. And remember, Hopkins was giving up weight and age (arguably past prime) in nearly all those fights. No shame in losing every round to a prime Kovalev. He was 50 years old....but STILL is Kovalev's best win on paper. Hopkins dared to be great...therefore he is great. He won some lost some. But, he DID it. That's the point. It's becoming clear, GGG is just not THAT type of fighter. But, we will see.

As for GGG stopping Canelo and Lara. Those would be bigger names, but, not really huge accomplishments. For one, he is expected to. I would even say he HAS to...if those fights are made. If they make him look bad and damage the aura of invincibility...trust, the hype bubble will burst. Heavy is the head that wears the crown.

Well, both Lemieux and Geale were in their primes; Geale was arguably top of his division, and arguably unbeaten, save for razor thin SD losses to Mundine and Barker.
Gennady dominated every single rd in both fights.

As far as Hopkins best win at the higher weights, if one excepts 37 year old Tarver, who was hardly in his prime, Hopkins win vs Pascal was a razor close affair with Dan Rafael scoring it a draw, and with Hopkins getting hurt in multiple rds, nearly going down in the last.

Gennady was more dominant in his wins than Hopkins was.

And he stopped all his title challengers, contrary to Hopkins whose last KO dates to Hoya, in 2004 !

I know you like Hopkins, but can you at least admit there's simply no one between super middle and super welter to test Gennady ?

He doesn't rehydrate above 170; for the moment, there's absolutely no reason to move up, except to please some haters who will never give him his dues, whoever he defeats.
