I thought he was going to survive the round and BANG fight over

Murata really brought it out of Golovkin and rose to the occasion

I love boxing and I am true to the game! I don’t have to like you to discuss boxing with you. The need to be liked is an admirable quality in a ***** or a pet dog but not in a leader of mean.

    How marvelously admirable of you.

Um, just for future reference, when trying to big yourself up...it's "leader of m-e-n", not, "leader of m-e-a-n." Easier to take you seriously when you have the spelling acumen somewhere above a fifth grader.

Anyway bottom line is Lil G short or not did his job so we get to see Canelo finish his career at the MGM Grand Garden Arena or T Mobile Centre.

GGG vs Canelo made $27,059,850 at the gate

Ward vs Kovalev I made $3,341,980

    GGG vs Canelo $27,059,850

Ward vs Kovalev II made $2,187,340 at the gate

    $3,341,980 + $2,187,340 = $5,529,320

    $27,059,850>>>>>>>>>>>$5,529,320

1 fight made almost 5 times the amount of money at the gate than 2 did combined

GGG vs Canelo = 1.3 M PPV buys >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Ward vs Kovalev I = 160,000 PPV buys + Ward vs Kovlev II = 125,000 PPVs buys

    1 fight = 1.3 M PPV buys

    2 fights = 285,000 PPV buys

1 fight sold almost 5 x the amount of PPV buys 2 fights did

    GGG is from Kazakhstan

    Ward is from the US

GGG only arrived in the US in 2012

Ward has lived there his entire life

GGG's first fight on US TV was in 2012

Ward's was in 2004 and all his fights have been shown on US TV

Ward is America's only Olympic gold medalist in over 20 years, granted he cheated like crazy in the semi-final and should've only left with a bronze.

GGG spoke English about as well as 4 y/o American child up until not long ago

    Ward speaks it fluently

GGG has sold out venues on the East coast, West coast, the UK, Japan, Monte Carlo etc. and has broken records in the process

Ward couldn't sell out his own hometown even though comp tickets for his fights were regularly handed out in their thousands

GGG's fights are broadcast in over 120 countries

Ward would be lucky if his were broadcast in 120 households outside the US

And all the tickets for GGG's debut on British soil for his fight against Brook sold out in 11 minutes.

    http://www.matchroomboxing.com/news/golovkin-brook-tickets-sell-out-in-11-minutes/

Again, GGG sold almost double amount of tickets in Ward's home state fighting a ''bum'' than Dre did in Oakland fighting an undefeated contender despite the tickets being a lot more expensive

GGG probably earned more for 10 minutes work against Stevie ''Jelly'' Rolls than Dre did for Kovalev I & II, Kessler, Froch and Dawson combined.

And the purse GGG earned for just one of the Clenelo fights likely eclipsed Dre's entire career earnings. GGG's career earnings reputedly exceed $100 mill

Dre was never the A-Side against Big G even in his own country

    GGG has fought in

    England x 1
    Germany x 18
    America x 16
    Monte Carlo x 3
    Panama x 2
    Ukraine x 1
    Denmark x 1
    Japan x 1
    Kazakhstan x 1

And don't forget he offered to fight Darren Barker in England for free, was set to fight Anthony Mundine in Sydney until the later ducked him, and there are a whole bunch of other fighters who ducked him he would've fought in their backyards or one the road too.

Dre never once fought outside the US or ever stepped foot into a ring without an American ref (and he had Cali refs for a whopping 23 of his fights) and an absolutely scandalous amount of home judges, be they from Cali or the wider US, like often a full set of three for world title fights even against foreigners

Again, B-Side Dre would never have dared fight GGG in his country in a billion years and history attests to that, let alone with a home ref or judges or for his first fight at the weight. He refused to go anywhere near Kovalev until he had three fights to settle into the weight even though he had home advantage and a full set of home officials.
