People keep forgetting that Canelo tired in the middle rounds. GGG takes a couple rounds and he'll start getting to Canelo like usual.

GGG is not prime anymore, but he still gives anyone a tough fight. Canelo ain't going to win again without judges giving him gifts.

I thought he edged chenko with the knockdown being the difference i still want to see the rematch. Chenko is one of the best fighters at 160 i picked him to beat jacobs he's the real deal so him struggling with a world class guy like chenko wasn't a surprise to me. He looked like **** against sulecki i agree.

What can you teach someone with GGG's experience. Should be subtle strategies for Canelo. Banks is trying to change a lot in his style, had him doing more bobbing and weaving but he still got tagged, and went back to his usual pressure style.

 against a guy that went life and death with Keandre freaking Leatherwood.

Pretty low bar for "getting the job done".

GGG gets hit too much and makes for uncomfortable viewing. In any fight with Canelo, he aint winning on the cards if he gets hit a lot and doesn't KO Canelo

Horrible comparison. Canelo fought and clearly beat a championship caliber opponent I don't think anyone expected a domination there. GGG just beat a "sacrificial lamb" that was not expected to last more than a couple of rounds by some of you. As a Canelo fan I'm looking forward to the third GGG fight(easy money) as a GGG fan I don't want to see him lose again.

    No.

When you dominate a guy and get rid of him in 4, you've got the job done.

The quality of the opponent is a different matter.

I would have liked to see him face a better opponent, but given who he was in with, he got the job done.

This went exactly as I expected. GGG came out trying new things he is learning under a new trainer. If he came out and just power bomb to a rnd 1 KO he would be wasting his time.

Golovkin looked a little slow with his hands but I really liked his punch selection, return to the body and his power

Rolls was better than I expected and was looking to measure golovkin and try to punch in between or after. He landed a few good shots maybe won 1 round but was KO’d

GGG was on a 9 month layoff new trainer went up a little in weight and is getting up there in years. I’d say it was a good night out

true, but were good enough analysts to understand theres a huge gap in talent between jacobs and rolls, irrespective of their individual performances. rolls fought up to our expectations, he wasnt doing anything he wasnt capable of doing in his last fight. it was just ggg that looked out of sorts a bit. the finishing sequence is vintage ggg, but the first few rds he was trying to work things in that confused him a bit. he may improve and learn to do all more naturally, or he may not.
i think roach would get him back his best, hes good enough to understand what makes ggg good and how he can teach him to best use his natural style. but i dont think roach comes cheap.

Golovkin looked like s****. I seen Rolls fight before and GGG should have had him out of there sooner.

He did not dominate. He won three ugly boring terrible rounds and then stopped a guy that any top 15 middleweight could have stopped inside 4rds.

So that, again, is a pretty low bar for patting GGG on the back with platitudes like "he got the job done".

And save your "no", because nobody asked you a yes or no question.
