I'd say if Canelo is tied up with his mandatory GGG should fight Saunders at 168 in the hopes of getting a unification going.

He almost didn't fight Jacobs because Golovkin was making it difficult. He hasn't given him a rematch.

Lemieux was a gimme fight. Had Canelo fought Lemieux that would be considered a Liam Smith type fight for him.

Pirog and GGG never fought, I have my doubts that fight would have been made, perhaps GGG would have found a way out.

All I know of GGG is that he is always willing to fight old, aging, and retired fighters, but as soon as the prime cats call him out he ends up fighting a "mandatory", finds a way out, or flat out refuses.

I’m surprised at that, I don’t think that’s an opinion I’ve come across much. He was a little limited in areas but very game and lively. Someone else to fall under the Sturm curse

I don’t even need to click ‘show ignored content’ to know who you’re replying to here lol. The Andy Lee fight was made too (ok not as good as Pirog but a plenty capable fighter who could switch anyone’s lights out) but that was cancelled due to GGG’s dad dying.
