    Fair enough.
Like I said, I thought a draw was fair(well, not for Golovkin because Byrd ****ed him over). And if you asked me who won it, I would say probably Golovkin as I don´t see 7 rounds for Canelo.

Did the Pollack quit or did the ref end it?

The ref stopped the fight and rightly so

Szeremta was very tough and brave. He took a real beating, hauled his ass off the canvas four times after being dropped with heavy shots, and he never stopped trying right up to the bitter end.

He wasn't that badly hurt. You could justify it on the basis that the fight wasn't competitive, so why let him keep taking a beating, but the guy was trying, so maybe you give him a shot, IDK.

But, I agree with what someone else says, the guy was tough, even tho he didn't protest the stoppage.

Look Szeremeta is tough as nails. He's also a good boxer, even though you didn't really see him strut his stuff against GGG. The problem was he's got like, zero power of his own and Golovkin hits like a hammer in addition to being better. He was never going to win and he took some huge shots in the last round. Maybe it could have gone a round longer, idk. But if the guy ends up in a coma ... ? His own corner should have pulled him tbh.

I can agree the rematch was far closer, easily.

First fight, Clenelo just ran and laid on the ropes from what I recall. I think I gave GGG 8 rounds.

you can’t win a fight running and laying on the ropes and not landing the meaningful punches.

What does running and being on the ropes have anything to do with scoring?

    First fight:

Canelo was clearly the more skillful and better boxer and won the first half of the fight, but then he gassed because he threw so many combos and he doesn't know how to throw a punch but with 100% power. He could get away with that against smaller guys, because he would get them out of there with that kind of output of 100% power punches, but not so with GGG. After he gassed, GGG took over and won the fight.

    Second fight:

Canelo won it WIDE. It seemed like GGG couldn't get out of neutral. The people who thought GGG won seemed to think he won because he outjabbed Canelo, but jabs don't count as much as power punches and Canelo outlanded him in power punches by a massive margin.
