I am pretty sure he hasn't, do you have a link?

AJ is a free agent in USA but matchroom in the UK

Seems like Joshua didn't sign any deals with DAZN, but signed a massive deal(extencion) with Matchroom. From what I gather, Joshua isn't a free agent anywhere. He fights where Matchroom puts him.

Similar to what Wilder has with PBC and SHO.

DAZN are surely going bankrupt, how can they give a fighter 15 million for a fight that will be watched by 200,000 subscribers max?

They are playing a long-term game, hoping that the situation (with the subscribers) will change in the future.
But, yes, it's a very risky game with budgets like that...

I dont see how any boxer will ever earn 15 million without PPV and be sustainable.

Because its not an short term thing and they are not running out of money. Loss making initially is expected and isn't an issue if investors accept that.

Netflix has been loss making since day 1 but that doesn't stop investment.

Exactly. This idea that GBP, matchroom and now GGG are competing against each other is ridiculous. All that matters is the platform succeeds then they all win.

In theory, easily — that boxer just needs to generate a ton of subscribers.

In practice, though, they don't even expect signings like Canelo and Golovkin to ever be profitable. For DAZN it's almost like promotion expenses.

Doesn't mean he needs to take their options LOL

He is not obliged to accept their offer if it isn't up to standard
