This is still not official, why?

GGG doesn't want to fight until September?

Eddie Hearns debunked that rumor , but it shows you how difficult Golovkin is to work with. Maybe he was demanding a stake in the company for signing and did the same with ESPN which would explain why Coppinger claimed ESPN said he wasn't worth the trouble.

Hoya gave this demanding diva everything he wanted for both fights yet its Hoya who receives an endless cycle of abuse.
Would GGG have paid Canelo the same if he was in their shoes? Probably not.
He wouldn't take an honest and fair 50/50 against Ward and Jacobs had to fight tooth and nail just to get a 35% split against him.
Being too greedy is obviously why this guy still can't come to a deal with any of the networks. He's probably demanding bum fights too before the rubber match with Canelo. :icon_tfno:

The talks are “moving along at its continued snail pace,” a source with knowledge of the talks told ESPN. “Nothing is imminent.”

Wow. If Golovkin lets this deal go, that will be an epic fail. :nonono
