Well, like, who's your #50 and we'll compare and contrast their best wins, for the sake of argument. I'l elaborate that way.

Well, there ya go. We know Golovkin wouldn't be pulling up a draw on Sharkey. He never even wanted to move up once and prove he should be mentioned with guys like that.

GGG is one of my all time favourites but he's ridiculously overrated. Compare his résumé with Toney's at 160. James is clearly better, right? Yeah, and neither were in consideration for my top 20 and so probably wouldn't make a top 25.

GGG is then FURTHER behind that.

He walks through and stops several of those in his prime, or not in his prime. I'd not want to pick any of them to beat him, with maybe the exception of Jones prime for prime.
Making a point to include several relatively obscure fighters, at least very dubious top ten ATG middles and putting them ahead of someone like GGG just makes you look a bit stupid.

No, you're the one suggesting he's *that great.* I never said he was bad ever in this thread, thanks!

I'd ranked him just out of the 10. H2H though he's top 10 easy.

Which in the list do you think Golovkin would find particularly easy and why?

On what basis would you only - "maybe" - pick Jones?

What, and you think sweeping statements regarding Golovkin's assured victory against all but "maybe" Jones Jr, makes you look smart?

Name me an opponent Golovkin beat, who was better than anyone on the list I posted.

How do you define it? Sucessfull title defenses? Then GGG is way up there.

KO power, chin and skills? Once again way up there.

GGG has one of the best jabs at middleweight, and even in his declining years, he can still win a fight with this punch.

Unlike some others famous middle weights GGG fought way past his 34 birthday. He's past his prime now. As Canelo's legacy grows, so does GGG's as everyone knows he beat him,
