Yeah, that's what Sturm thought. Funny thing is: if Universum knew Felix would leave them, there would have been no controversy. Helluva way to say "thank you" from Sturm.
I have it on good authority that Sturm's going to send them an old fruit basket for the holidays, so that should square things up.
Gevor outclassed by Sturm in the later rounds of their encounter,eh! You must have watched a different fight then! I watched Sturm vs Gevor on Polish tv.I cant speak Polish although I do understand a little bit as I speak Russian,Belarussian and Czech. Anyway! My point is I wasnt influenced by one of the ignorant German tv chatterboxes who usually have no clue what they talk about. Sturm had to dance to Gevor's tune for most of the rounds.Gevor's game plan was brilliant, and so was Gevor's fight. He really did his best.Admittingly,STurm is no bum and he for sure had his moments, too. Nevertheless, all in all the vast mayority of the fight fans here on esb who had watched that fight were disappointed with the official result, and so was I. Gevor deserved the victory, and would have been called the victor on neutral territory. To state that Gevor vs Sturm wasnt even close is a foolish thing to say,my friend!
You can watch the fight again and see who was running away in the championship rounds. It was very clear that Gervor was fatigued and on the verge of getting knocked out. In contrast, Sturm didn't run but let Gevor come at him... had he employed the running strategy from Castillo II, I think he would have probably won without much excitement. This way we got to see a great fight and I have no problems if other saw the other way.
