Very impressive clips. GGG has plenty of skills in addition to being the hardest punching middle weight I ever saw.

His counterpunching routinely gets sold short when, in reality, that's the endgame of his pressure - style offensive approach.

anybody can look like somebody if they are fighting nobodies.

Not to sound like an over the top GGG fan boy but

the nobodies GGG fought gave some somebodies tough fights

Macklin who Golovkin took care of took Martinez to deep water scoring a knockdown and being somewhat close on the cards around the 9th or 10th round and had a very controversial loss to Sturm

Geale unified titles and defeated Sturm a long time belt holder and Golovkin beat him easily

Rubio went 12 with Chavez and 9 or 10 with Pavlik and Golovkin basically made him quit very early

Not saying these are HOF guys that make him an ATG and I'm not crowning GGG as superior to Hagler or Monzon or Hopkins but he has beaten world class middles who were troublesome for others

Murray I thought beat Martinez and gave a good account drawing with Sturm, if Golovkin puts him away early thats a good sign that his power is very real in comparison to his contemporaries who couldnt do what he did with the same competition

People see only his K.O power when in reality his superior boxing skills and ring IQ make him such a ferocious beast in the ring.

Golovkin is great boxer. People look at him and see aggression, but he does so many things in there that even other boxers don't understand.

He uses his skills to set up shots and lands shots otherwise unavailable to most boxers. He makes KOs look easy, but only because he knows what he's doing in the ring.

A lot of boxers have talent, but Golovkin has skills. Skill is the refinement of talent and while some boxers look like they possess skill, what they actually possess is just talent, not skill.
