Chavez fans were citing the relevance of that fight constantly in the run-up to Martinez-Chavez, suggesting that Margarito had also laid out the "blueprint" for Julio. Unfortunately though Martinez is a loads better boxer than he was at that point in time; citing that fight would be like saying to defeat Bernard Hopkins, Nathan Cleverly need only follow the game plan put together by Clinton Mitchell.

Besides Martinez's drastic improvements, Margarito also had a much higher output than both Chavez and Golovkin, further marginalizing the relevance of that fight. Yes yes, Golovkin threw 50,000 punches in that one round when Ouma was done; that doesn't change the fact that he's generally more conservative with his offense, especially against a mover, than Margarito was.

Triple G is a scary dude! He crushed Angulo in sparring before the Kirkland fight... The guy has some insane power!

too early to say what will happen if he fights martinez and mayweather as BOTH are proven at the highest level. GGG has some work to do still.

imo him vs chavez would be an aboslute barnburner ala rios v alvarado. two guys with solids chins and power. i see GGG coming out on top though.

Alright swine. You carp on about Golovkin fighting "bums". Tell me which ATG has Martinez put down? Golovkin to take him to the cleaners in eight max. Martinez is no Hagler, just another overblown hypejob. Good boxer that's all.

Swine you need to put your crack pipe aside for one moment. FFS, Martinez could not get rid of a limited Chavez Jnr who was found to be doped up on ganga. If the fight happens, Golovkin makes adjustments and takes out Martinez in eight max.

Swine, I need a laugh you runt. You go on as though Martinez is an ATG, how would you compare him to I dunno......Marvin Hagler? I bet in your ****ing dreams Martinez KO's Hagler don't you? Come on.......lets here ya dumb****.

On "Baby Faced Assassin" Golovkin, posters are just a little excited but have every right to be. Think he could be a star in the making depending if the fights and matchups takes place that everyone wants to see. This is boxing and money and politics talk. FYI Swine, I do think that Golovkin takes out PBF as well. PBF is smart though and my moneys on him not taking the fight. PBF wants to maintain his legacy and he's smart, Golovkin poses a massive risk.

Swine, heres one for ya. If weed fuelled Chavez Jnr put Martinez down in his fight, what do ya think "Baby Faced Assassin" Golovkin would do? Swine, who do you think has the heavier hands, Chavez Jnr or Golovkin?

    :patsch Nice alt you *****.

Your posts are virtually oozing stupidity so its pretty evident that you suffered brain damage when your mother tried to abort you. No doubt you have been joining the GGG fapfest on the highlights video on Youtube, you douchebag.

-Martinez a hypejob? LOLOLOLOL, P4P top 5 and has beaten every top middleweight in his path, held the WBC (light middleweight and MW), WBO and the Ring titles, two division world champion, victories over Kelly Pavlik (top 10 P4P at the time), Paul Williams (top 10 P4P at the time).
    - Golovkin: Proksa (LOLOLOLOLOL) and being gifted a title he did **** all to earn.

Martinezs win over Macklin is more impressive than anything the overhyped bumhunter has ever done during his pro career, you stupid piece of ****.

:rofl:rofl:rofl Better than Floyd? You are a ****ing disgrace to boxing if you truly believe that and if you do, you should throw yourself in front of a bus to rid the world of your stupidity.

Besides power, the hypejob has nothing that could trouble the likes of Martinez, FM, and even Geale. When he faces someone who can actually hold their hands up and punch back, he'll get schooled and hopefully his band of nuthuggers including yourself will neck themselves out of despair .

Thanks for the good laugh, douchebag. I needed something to brighten my day :hi:
