Only disappointing post Canelo 2. His heart and appetite for the game left him. He went for the big money after that. Can't blame him for that. If you can't have a stellar legacy then compensate yourself with money.
Bull. GGG'S power jabs in the 2nd fight were as hard as whatever Canelo threw. GGG clearly outlanded him in both fights, especially if you slow it down and see whats really going on.
Nah, GGG just bruises more easily than Canelo. GGG outlanded Canelo big by compubox and 30 ringside journalist had GGG winning the 2nd fight, 15 had it even and 2 had Canelo winning. The first fight isnt even worth discussing. Canelo only outlanded GGG by 10 punches in the 3rd fight and that is probably giving him credit for about 15 or more low body blows.
You are here since 2010 and you are scoring a fight by usiing compubox? It seems you should read more, and write less.
Compubox can be so misleading when it gets used as confirmation bias to paint a picture that is so fundamentally different to actually watching a match and scoring it properly, based not on counting punches and deciding how many arguably landed (which is largely guesswork at best) but rather evaluating the quality and effectivness of landed shots and other aspects of a round like ring generalship, effective aggression and defense.
GGG looked like he was in a car crash after the rematch. That didn't happen by accident. It's no coincidence that GGG had never been marked up like that before or since. Canelo did that, Canelo bruised his face. Was he bruised up like that after a grueling 12 rounds against Derevyanchenko? What he bruised up like that against anyone else? No, of course not. Being brutalized by a consistent barrage of power punches over the course of 12 rounds did that! Why do you think he fought so uncharacteristically cautiously in the 3rd fight? It was largely because of the beating he sustained in the rematch, he didn't want to feel that or suffer that kind of a beating again. You continue to pander to tiny sample sizes of ringside journalists who largely had an investment in GGG winning as they predicted a GGG victory and could not fathom or come to terms with what Canelo did to GGG, in the first fight or in the rematch and still to this day remain in denial about what happened. Lucky for you I'm here to wake you up out of your delusions and remind you of what happened. You're welcome.
Compubox means nothing when scoring a fight. NOTHING. It is really sad that a person who has been here for 13 years writes a comment like the one you wrote. You should know way better than that.
Compubox has always been inaccurate & especially when a fanboy is tapping the buttons three times over because he wants his favorite fighter to win.
