what's your point? is he 140 or 147?

also, do people really think ggg should reply "no" when asked about the fight that would do most for his bank balance and resumé, against a 154 champ at 154? there's some idiocy on display here.

People want to see floyd get beat so bad that people say he's ducking guys that's not even in his division... Lord knows floyd doesn't even belong in 154 let alone 160

It says in the thread title Golovkin is willing to come down to 154. If Floyd thinks the guys there are too big he should surrender his belt and leave the division.

What weight will GGG be at on fight night? That's the question you gotta ask... Floyd fighting at 147 comes in lighter than most of the people at 140

Lost to some, won some, but he had the balls to fight them and see what unfolded. When he fought Barkley he weighed 154. Just saw that fight on you tube, and I gotta tell you, it may be the best fight I ever saw. It was terrific!!!!

Floyd's bigger than Duran by a fair amount.

Wrong. Duran started off at Bantamweight and no he wasn't the same fighter, but he had the balls to step into the ring against a fighter 6 inches taller than him, with much more power, younger by 8 years, and a huge, huge middleweight who had just beaten Hearns, and not only last the distance with him, but win the fight.

Mayweather hasn't nor will he ever, do anything remotely along these lines. And when he stepped into the ring, Duran weighed 154.

Watch the fight and look at the size difference, it's huge. It looks like a lightheavy against a welterweight. And lastly, this was the fight of the year for 1989 so this is what can happen with a talented fighter pushes himself to the very limit.

Yes, he was asked. He never called Floyd out - that would indeed make no sense. Promotional war aside Floyd is the one in driving seat and wouldn't be under the slightest pressure to respond to MW with no experience at 154 anyway.

As you say, anyone able to make a weight of Floyds choosing would say yes if offered.

Isn't dropping weight a disadvantage? Floyd and his fans always said it was, until Canelo at least. So this guy is willing to handicap himself like that and face the SWW champ n the champs turf. Why would that make anyone upset, except Floyd's doctor and others concerned for his health?

This fight wont happen. dont know why GGG wants to even bother. Floyd would never take the chance of fighting a guy like GGG who can ko him. i think itd be a sensational fight. floyds defense against GGG offense. i just dont want to hear the nonsense that GGG is too big because its bs. GGG is smaller than DLH and lighter than canelo.
