Golo is a beast. Too f*cking bad he can't get major sponsors since he's from Kazakhstan and somehow no major international stable thought he worth investing a lot of money in. Other than the dying Spotlight/Universum of course, but he didn't go too far with them.. Which is nonsense since he's MUCH better than Korobov or Dzinziruk or Provodnikov or Shumenov, yet he's forced to waste his most precious years. What a shame.

    GO GGG!

People have said in the past that Bute was out for a long time. He stood up pretty fast after taking that monster shot. Anybody knows if Golovkin has trouble to make weight at MW?

I just watched some video of Golovkin on You Tube. I vote for a title eliminator between Golovkin and Macklin. Stylistically it looks like a great slugging match.

There are so many good prospects and contenders coming up at 160 that I think Arum should use the new Top Rank Live show to build some of these guys up. Keep Pavlik at 160, build some of these young guns up as the man to beat him, maybe even have KP at ringside for some of the fights, and then do the title fight on HBO. It's money in the bank!

That type of strategy would put KP in the perfect situation to build a real legacy at 160. Look at Monzon, Haglar, and Hopkins. None of them have more than a handful of great wins at middleweight, and yet, all three are widely considered to be among the very best champions the prestigious middleweight division ever had. Why? Longevity. All three champs just kept pounding the **** out of every contender that came along, and anytime a smaller guy thought he could move up, he got beat up too. Pavlik is in an excellent position to do the same thing as long as he can keep making 160 without risking his health.

Pirog is too stiff. KP would find Dimitry very ease to time. Pirog plans on fighting once or twice on American TV before he pushes for his shot. That's actually a very good idea. He needs a bit more experience before he goes for the glory.

The fact that Pirog wants to fight on American TV goes right back to what I said about the Top Rank Live show. I was hoping to see Winky/Pirog because Winky is suppose to fight at 160 on the show, but he says he's going back to 154.

What's the latest on Golovkin? First he was made Sturm's mandatory, but then he did like Dzinziruk and tried to defect from Universum, thus stalling out his career in court.

So is he, or isn't he Sturm's next mandatory?

Felix looked terrible against Gevor. I think Golovkin might beat him.

It's time for the old guard of Sturm, Pavlik, Sylvester and co. to shuffle off to convalescence homes. Let's see total 160lb unification from Golovkin and N'Dam N'Jikam in 2011! :happy

I think not. After Sturm left Universum he was named the mandatory, as if Universum wasn't going to let Sturm escape with the belt. But then Golovkin announced he was done with them too. He was mad about not getting a high profile fight. First Ishe Smith dropped out, then the whole Sturm fight looked unlikely due to Universum and Sturm going to court, so Golovkin said the heck with Universum. Now I'm wondering what's happening with him?

After that I heard a rumour that Anthony Mundine and Randy Griffin might fight for the interm WBA title. Griffin hasn't boxed in over year, and hasn't won a fight in over two years.

No, no, and no. Sturm is the oldest of the bunch, and he is only 31.
