He wants Cotto, Alvarez, Mayweather, Chavez jr, in other words the really BIG fights.

Ward is no where near PPV, can't draw flies to chit.

Newsflash, PPV fighters can't and don't only fight other PPV fighters. Look at Mayweather's opponents... How many of them were PPV fighters? Same with Canelo. Was Sergio a PPV fighter without Chavez or Cotto? No. Cotto's looking at guys who are not PPV fighters for his next fight. GGG may not have fought on PPV yet, but Cotto-GGG is a PPV fight, is Cotto-Bundrage? No. Chavez-GGG is a PPV fight. Is Chavez-Fonfara? No.

Conclusion: you're the only one here who is shooting himself in the foot.

I have no problem with GGG-Cotto ( Cotto is lineal) or GGG-Chavez. Mayweather is too small even if he has fought for a title at 154 he comes in lower than 154 while GGG comes in closer to 175 than 160. GGG came in what 172 for last fight? Canelo is a division south well he should be if he would stop being fat. He needs a nutritionist/dietician to help him stay where he is most effective. His physicality plays into a lot of fights he wins at 154 and at 160 he loses that advantage. No one should be forced to fight a bigger fighter period not even GGG. I expect Cotto to fight the bigger fighter GGG because he owns a title at 160.

Don't know why people keep on bringing Ward up. Dude is inactive/retired, has fought once in three years, makes unrealistic demands for a possible comeback fight against soft opposition (what do you think will his demands look like against a real test?), still has no fight lined up months after his contract problems ended.

The notion of GGG ducking Jim Lampley is as realistic as the notion of him ducking Ward.

Why would anyone call out Ward? You might as well call out a wall.

GGG is not stupid. I don't think he fears any fighter but he is working the odds and there's nothing wrong with that. However, if he's looking for money fights, Monroe is not it.
