We still going to go the whole WWE fan route and pretend that was some sort of official offer?

Fact is, the MW WILL be defended at 155, without Golovkin, and mucho Denero that should be Golovkin's will flow into the pockets of two SWWs.
They punked Golovkin like he was a nobody ladyboy.

Golovkin can seat as a spectator and watch the event like all us other fans while the two A-sides yoke Golovkin like they are yakuza collecting protection money.

Seems like there are a lot of guys that don't actually want to see GGG vs Canelo. And these are "boxing fans"? LOL

    It's WBC's fault really.

Canelo can get away with it and does. It's the system that's to blame.

If the sanctioning body stripped him and all fans considered the lineage expunged due to failure to fight at the limit, he'd have no choice but to comply.

Canelo can make millions fighting at 155, it's no endearing him to fans and it damages his legacy but it's his life. As long as he can get away with it, he will.

I'm gutted because I really thought he would face Golovkin. Obviously the only realistic solution is Golovkin to concede and accept the catchweight, whether he will or not is up to him.

GGG's broken english makes my head hurt. He's learning a big lesson of capitalism and leverage. His promoter sucks.

Golovkin is right. And the people who are advocating catch weights in boxing when boxing already has enough problems, you should examine your heads. Should the moneyman always have a fixed advantage over his opponent because he is the draw? Is that sport?

Real fans could give a f if the fight is at 155 or 165. They just want to see them fight.
When fighters earn a couple thousand dollars per fight, it one thing, but when a fight is worth millions of dollars, it's something entirely different.

Real fans don't want to see a mismatch due to a WW being forced to MW. A clear disadvantage.
Real fans want to see an even field, as even as possible. No more mismatches.

Ultimately, it is the WBC to blame if they don't enforce it.

I still think we'll see the fight and Golovkin would concede a couple of pounds to make it happen...but it's poor negotiating tactics to say that openly now.

Canelo won a fraud vacant title to begin with.
When Cotto was stripped GGG should have been elevated to full champ.

How is it the WBCs or Canelos fault Golovkin keeps side stepping his shot?

Golovkin isn't champion at 168 though. He's not pretending to be a super-middle.
If he asks a big fighter to meet him at 164 that's his prerogative, and if the bigger man refuses that's fair too. No one is in the wrong.

Canelo is champion at 160, middleweight, but refuses to defend at 160 against other middleweights.
Every boxing fan should know that is wrong.

Thats admirable , if the division was worth unifying , but it isn't.

What MW's has Canelo beaten again? Why is no other MW clamouring for a fight against Canelo?

Whats stopping him form going after the WBC belt at 168? That strap isn't protected like it is at 160.

Canelo should be FORCED to fight Golovkin, or lose his title.
Golovkin is NOT the champion. He has 2 contender belts making him the NUMBER ONE CONTENDER when it's all said and done.
Billy Joe Saunders is the number 2 contender.
There's NO other way around it. The Khan-Canelo fight is an ABSOLUTE joke of a fight.
I hope Khan wins the title on May 7th as a PUNISHMENT to Canelo for not being a true champion.
