345 wins and only 5 losses, that is Golovkin's real amateur record..............

Strefa also has the Olympic Test Event L to Despaigne down - which no way no how should be part of the record as it's just to test the scoring and judging systems and the logistics of fighter throughput etc (like a kinda dress rehearsal). No fighter is going to go all out in a test event with the Olympics only 3 months away.

I'm not all that interested in Golovkin-Murray. I expect it to be another easy win for GGG.

In regards to amateur records, how far back do they go?

from the first fight, even if you are a junior or does it only count senior appearences?

    I imagine its the latter.

in regards to the topic and records, does it really matter if golovkins amateur racord is 300-5, 10 or 15?

whichever way you slice it, im still amazed.

One of the most entertaining fighters around gennady "good boy" golovkin.

It's important in a way because how the PR machine can forge false amateur records to hype fighters. It turns out Irish Andre Ward was knocked out multiple time in the amateurs.

He was knocked out multiple times?

    Any evidence for that?

It's well known ward has a couple of K.O losses in the AM's. A lot of stuff happens in the amateurs that people don't know about. When these kids are young they're travelling and competing almost every weekend.
