Gennady Golovkin punches almost 3 times as hard as Mayweather did. In a literal sense.

I hate to imagine the effect GGG's fist would have on Mayweather's skull as it reverberates and shatters upon impact.

It's not a fight that could possibly have been sanctioned otherwise the governing bodies would have guilty fo effectively given the go ahead for licensed murder.

Mike Tyson whom Golovkin is often compared to was definitely considered seasoned at 23. You're talking nonsense, main even experience does not determine the outcome of a fight........skills does. Just to prof it to you. Right after the Mayweather loss, Canelo went on to score a highlight rel knockout and knockout of the year candidate, just you boy did last Saturday night. You see, there is difference between looking exceptional against bums than fighting a world class fighter. At 36, who the best win of Golovkin, Danny Jacobs?:risas3:
And this guy is supposed to be a top 5 middleweight of all time. Fanboism is a mental illness I tell you!

About as effective as when Golovkin landed on Jacobs and Canelo. That's if he's even lucky to land it.

You are mentally challenged. Floyd landed way more clean punches and he fought Canelo in the pocket. He didn’t do much running at all. I can already tell you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Canelo was a zombie and he wasn't roided up like Floyd was.

Jacobs came in the fight weighing 180lbs, a cruiserweight and on steroids.

Canelo again rehydrated to 174lbs against GGG whilst also on roids, and youth and enthusiasm on his side to help him absorb punishment from the adrenaline.

The maximum Mayweather weighs on fight night is 155lbs. Not to mention would be giving up 3 inches in height and would be 37 fighting a 33 year old prime GGG if they were to fight.

He simply wouldn't stand a chance.

Well why don't you hear me out and let me respond to your points before you conclude I'm talking nonsense lol.

Tyson was a freak athlete who fought 27 times over the first 18 months of his career which earned him a World title shot the year after he debuted! Yes I agree Tyson was seasoned at 20 lol. I mean **** Tyson was past his prime at 24 lmao. So yes there obviously are exceptions to being seasoned at 23 but 99% of fighters are not seasoned at 23, and in Canelo's case most of his fights were in Mexico so he was still a relative unknown really until he fought Shane Mosley, which gave him a name opponent and more exposure in the States.

I mean, sure there's an argument that Ali (Cassius Clay) was seasoned at 22 when he beat Sonny Liston. I mean that was probably the best version of him ever, but again most fighters peak in their mid to late 20s, and some fighters don't even peak until well into their 30s. (Tarver, Bellew, Calzaghe, Hopkins etc)

So obviously there are examples of fighters who are seasoned in their early 20s, but it's a pretty rare thing, and those that do are usually freak athletes like a Roy Jones, a Tyson, a Prince Naseem, etc who are just so supremely skilled and have such a ridiculous hand speed advantage at such an early age.

Canelo on the other hand is much more seasoned now than he was when he fought Mayweather. And being drained vs Mayweather didn't help his seasoning either. Draining if anything impedes one's seasoning. If you argue he was seasoned at 154, then having to shred two extra pounds for a Floyd catchweight, well that throws a wrench into your weight target routine which has a lot do to with a fighter becoming seasoned.

You tell dude he needs to watch the fight again, but I think you need to watch the fight again. Mayweather did not do much running at all vs Canelo. He stood there in the pocket with Canelo for most of the fight and used more upper body movement than usual to slip punches. There were instances where Floyd backed away from Canelo, but part of his strategy in that fight was to stand toe to toe and make Canelo miss from close range. And to a large extent, it worked, probably because Canelo was not expecting Floyd to stand toe to toe that much. The amount of times Floyd flinched on Canelo feints is indicative of Floyd's strategy to stay in the pocket but still being super wary of Canelo's power.

I only watched the fight when it happened. I remember Mayweather moving a lot in the fight but it has been 5? years since that fight, so my judgement might be off. Either way I don't remember him pasting Canelo much in the fight. It wasn't FOTY.

Now maybe you and I have different definitions of running. The only fight where I remember Mayweather moving forward on an opponent past LWW was the Old-Man Mosley fight. He almost never initiated exchanges because is a counter-puncher by nature. Mayweather was a lot more aggressive at the lower weights than the higher weights.

Pbf stood right in front of canelo and outboxed him. Maidana gave pbf a harder fight than pac did log off.
