GGG looked very impressive against a guy who showed alot of heart but little else. Proska did not look like any kind world beating owner of an elite boxing skillset to me.

Most (if not all) of the guys on that list would likely put a quick and nasty beatdown on Proska.

That said, I really enjoyed Golovkin's performance and agree w/those comparing him to Kostya Tszyu. Also enjoyed his post fight interview. Great attitude and his happiness is infectious.

Not sure I'm ready to call him the greatest thing since sliced bread just yet, but I'm optimistic.

    War Golovkin!:bbb

A big problem with many of today's boxers is that they are way too old to do much in terms of legacy and improvement.
What Golovkin is doing, should have been done by age 24. It's not his fault, just saying. The same with the HW'S of today, ****ing Povetkin is 32 years old. That is pathetic.

I blame it on the promoters, Canelo is actually pretty far ahead considering he's only 22.

Gennady probably beats most of them. As for the top guys like Martinez and Ward, Golovkin has legit chances. I'd like to see him punish the protected Canelo.

i think that froch and ward could be too big for him. they are physicaly stronger than him and way taller. but everyone else will get ****ed up, especially sergio martinez!!! golovkin should unify middleweight. and he would **** up floyd because he is too big for him and a murderous puncher

Agreed, i see him as a bit of a beast at 160 or below but at 168 i see him getting man handled by ward and froch. Ward would take him to school and froch loves fighting someone he can find and is all wrong for Golo imo.

    Yes legit chances for sure.

I don't care that Golovkin fought only one guy of note (Proska, and he's B level at best) it don't mattter.

Because from what I SEEN with my eyes, my pugilist mind have already decided Golovkin have a legit 50-50 shot against a natural SMW p4p guy in Andre Ward.

So what if GGG isn't proven other then Proska? That's because every one DUCKED HIM.

Did y'all hear GGG knocked out HW'S in sparring :happy:happy

I see him fighting LHW'S one day as well and dominating them too.

After one fight of note. Golovkin is good enough now to beat Carl Froch according to half the voters.

But I agree. I am easily impressed.

I'd like to see Golo vs Abraham :yep

I am impressed too but don't see anything to suggest he can stop froch and I just can't see how he could beat froch over 12 rounds. It would be a war but i feel froch is too solid at 168.. FFS, proksa would last a round with froch.

Agreed, GGG did exactly what you need to do when you're trying to promote yourself to a wider audience - he went out and put down one hell of a performance. I think him and Ward might be tough because Ward has the size advantage on top of hs very good techncal skills, it would be interesting to see GGGs power at 168 though.

    See everyone loves GGG.

This just proves people don't hate Kbros because they are EASTERN EUROPEANS.

    It's their style.

Look at GGG, leading da hype train and being so popular and fans loving him.

    He's the next superstar.
