GGG has zero chance vs. Froch. This has mismatch written over it, and I really like GGG. But he's no SMW.

Listening to Floyd fans excuse his domestic abuse and general ignorance seems a lot worse to me.

Why do you say these things? Is it damage control cos you know he's ducking Ward?

GGG sought a fight with Chavez at 168 and it was them who reached out to Hearn for a fight with Froch.

Do you know more about GGG than his own management?

It would be incredible... but it won't happen :deal

He was caught cold against Groves in the 1st round with a bomb, let's be honest. He was hit by everything INCLUDING the kitchen sink over the next 7 rounds and he soaked it up.

    One tough tough man.

GGG can bang no doubt about it, but how do we know his power has the same effect at 168? We don't! Even if it did, if anyone can take it, it's Froch.

Personally I think GGG is too small, Froch too big, tough + has underrated boxing ability (e.g. walking directly up to Froch, won't happen... and if GGG were to attempt that he'd be in for a rude awakening).

This is all spot on. But if it were a fight that could fill Wembley - in front of 80000 screaming fans no less - then at the very least Carl's interest will be piqued

I can see him at home with Rachael sobbing her eyes out begging her Cobra not to take this fight, and Carl using the media as a leverage to gain the upper hand in their power struggle

I think Froch has a good chance at the upset.

dinovelvt is wrong about Golovkin's fan base, but nobody cares about these fighters' personal lives.

For me it depends if froch has really declined and how much a year off has effected him, is he actually better rested now after a lay off?
If froch has not declined much or at all i think its a good fight and both men will come out winners even the loser.
GGG wins on points for me.and can then clean out smw but thats as far as he will move
Ward is going to be a lhw

    Froch by late TKO.
Just don't think Froch should be anyones first fight moving up, its a recipe for disaster!

All this fight will do is louden the brainless chants of G taking on the top 168lbers.

People will just say oh he was willing to fight an old froch but not *insert the 168lber they want him to fight * and will open him up for more criticism.

The fight will be exciting and meaningful though, and if it happens ill be looking forward to it. I can see both having the tools to win.
