Golovkin is a serious talent, its not just his punching power but he has incredible ring smarts. Brillant balance, range and jab. Id fancy him to beat any MW at the moment, he's that good. Hope he isn't serious about fighting Manfredo, he would annihilate him. Hope he doesn't start pissing his career away by facing guys like that. One of the reasons he left Universum was because they weren't giving him quality opponents. Golovkin is ready for Martinez as it is.

I think he knows that, and he knows that he needs to build up a name in the US before he can fight Martinez. Hence targeting Manfredo, who is also promoted by Lou DiBella these days, on US TV.

And I swear to god, I'm not talking to myself under alt usernames

  3. Golovkin vs. Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam would be a SICK fight. It won't be on HBO at all, but it would be perfect for a BAD main event or possibly on the undercard of a Sergio Martinez WCB broadcast.

But HBO will probably purchase Andy Lee vs. John Duddy instead... Lame...

Yeah, you're probably right. Bute is significantly bigger than Golovkin. Bute is a huge 168 as it is.

Use your brain (if you have one) why do you think John Duddy and Andy Lee are going on the undercard in Madison Square garden?

Because Martinez and Zbik couldnt give tickets away that why!

80% maybe more will be there to see the Irish lads square off , you better believe that.

  6. You better believe that Lee nor Duddy could win one round against Golovkin or Hassan N'Dam. They're better off carrying on the Irish tradition of getting their asses kicked whenever they face someone good.

Ireland has had more world champs than Cameroon and kazakhstan put together.

Andy lee would also ko Danny jacobs in a couple of rounds.

  8.

Andy Lee got his ass kicked by journeyman Brian Vera.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

Irish boxing fans are delusional it seems.

Tapia a few fights ago went the distance with Trout in a good Battle and last night he could only last 3 rounds with Golovkin,Bute's chin is still sore from Golovkin's knock out of him in the Amatuers, and I can assure you there are a lot of Middleweights in no hurry to take on this powerfull walk up Bulldog of a fighter.
    No wonder Mundine ran.!!!!

  12.

You just completely deflected my point that Andy Lee got his ass kicked by a journeyman.

And when did Andy Lee sell out MSG? Please illuminate me.

I nearly fell asleep waiting for you to come back from that one.....

Andy and john will sell all the tickets for that fight, the smart boxing promotors like Lou Dibella know this.

Oscar de la hoya might be able to get Jacobs on HBO but he still cant get the boxing fans to come and see him in his home town... Quite sad really.

Id say Danny jacobs has trouble getting family members to come watch him fight.

I'm an Irish boxing fan, but realistically I'd be surprised if either Lee or Duddy made it out of the 3rd round against Golovkin.

Jacobs would also get brutally KO'd again if he faced Golovkin.

  15. I guarantee you Lee/Duddy won't sell out MSG. You do realize the last time that happened was when Cotto fought Judah on the eve of the PR Day Parade, right? And those were two very good fighters, not two Irish scrubs.
